This month’s Coalition for Global Hearing Health Conference (GHCC) in Los Angeles is helping delegates who work in low-resource environments. Those attending the event, which takes place at the House Ear Institute on the campus of PIH Good Samaritan Hospital on 19-21 October 2023, will have the opportunity to receive donated audiometric equipment if they are working to improve hearing healthcare services in developing countries.
GHCC has made similar donations in previous years but has found it challenging and expensive to shop the equipment to the countries where they can do the most good. This year, it is making a special offering directly to attendees of the meeting, asking them to take the equipment home with them.
On offer are headphones, vestibula equipment and office supplies.
