After being on a virtual platform for the past few sessions, this year’s Coalition for Global Hearing Health Conference will be in person in the famous Good Samaritan Hospital, part of House Ear Institute in Los Angeles, California. It promises to be the largest and best CGHH conference to date.
Pre-Conference offerings on 19 October, with extended sessions and limited seating, include an all-day temporal bone dissection course and a ‘Creating Field Based Earmould Lab’.
Among the half-day pre-sessions are:

- Planning and Conducting Exemplar Outreach in Low-Middle Income Countries

The final day of the conference will kick off with world-renowned keynote speaker Dr Christie Yoshinaga-Itano who will share her perspectives on where we are with global early identification of hearing loss.
The Coalition for Global Hearing Health seeks to improve ear and hearing health and the lives of people who are deaf or hard of hearing, especially those in low- and middle-income communities, by:
- Advocating for appropriate and relevant policies throughout the world
- Defining best practices and disseminating resources for providers.
- Convening stakeholders to engage in constructive dialogue and networking
- Educating and empowering consumers, families, providers and community members
