The 6th edition of the ENT Masterclass Cyber Textbook of Operative Surgery has been published and is completely free to access online. It is a carefully curated virtual library of surgical videos from leading experts across the globe. All sections have been updated, and there are now over 600 videos in the collection.
The 6th Edition co-editors have worked hard to compile a library of videos, mostly just 10 minutes in length, which allow viewers to observe a variety of surgical approaches and techniques for ENT procedures and operations.
Split into sections according to sub-specialty, videos cover head and neck, otology, rhinology, facial plastics, paediatrics and basic ENT skills. All are clearly labelled, and hyperlinks lead directly to freely available surgical videos.
The ENT Masterclass makes a disclaimer that “ENT Masterclass does not advocate any particular surgeon or technique in this collection and it is up to the viewers to make their own judgements and utilise what they think is appropriate.” And this is the beauty of this collection, true to the spirit of ENT Masterclass, the content is freely available, and generously offered for students and surgeons to watch, enjoy and learn.
