Who do you think you are?
And – perhaps equally important – how do you come across to other people? For Sep/Oct 2023, we focus on the topic of ‘identity’. As regular readers will know, our Global Health articles shine a spotlight on LMIC (low- and middle-income countries), and we focus in this edition on the West African country of Liberia. We hear that its population of 4.5 million has just started benefitting from its first ENT surgeon since 1847. Read more about this remarkable individual here.
In recent months, the ENT & Audiology News team have really enjoyed attending meetings and catching up with friends and colleagues. For my part, it was a particular pleasure to attend the ELS Congress in Milan, where the team from the magazine put together daily updates for the delegates. In the coming weeks, we will be attending a number of meetings, including the Scottish International Head and Neck Conference (Edinburgh, Scotland), the IOS (Sligo, Ireland), EUHA (Nuremberg, Germany) and the BAA (Coventry, England).
