The Confederation of European ORL-HNS has announced a set of grants and scholarships for 2024. Members of national, subspecialty or individual members of the confederation may apply for an Observership travel grant of up to €500. There are 12 grants available for 2024.
Applicants, who must be under 35, should send a CV, proof of membership of the corresponding society and a statement of purpose to apply for the travel grant. They should also send a short report of the activity afterwards. The submission deadline is 31 May 2024. The winners will be decided by lottery and will be announced during the CEORL Congress in Dublin, 15-19 June 2024. Details here.
The Dublin Scholarship programme offers each national and co-opted member society the opportunity to select one young resident colleague under 35 for free registration to the 2024 Dublin conference. The recipient must have submitted an abstract as first author for the congress. The scholarships will be distributed through the corresponding societies.
Applicants were invited from Nepal for the 2024 Global Outreach Travel Grant. This includes a two-week observership at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Bristol University Hospital, UK, in June 2024, registration for the CEORL Congress in Dublin, 15-19 June 2024, as well as up €5000 to cover travel and lodging. For the planned grant in 2026, another applicant country will be selected from the list.
