After the successful kick-off of the Digital EUHA Spring Conference on 22 March 2024, all presentations are available online until the end of May. The programme includes 23 lectures covering research and science, practical application, marketing and communication, as well as the future of audiology.
Presented in German and English, the lectures are either basic or advanced. There are presentations on tools such as Auracast, loudness in hearing-aid fitting and cognitive screenings. Other topics include speech intelligibility and listening effort as well as holistic hearing care.
At the opening event, EUHA Vice President Eva Keil-Becker said: “Hearing and understanding are the gateway to the world.” She suggested each participant put together a suitable programme for themselves and encouraged them to get in touch with the speakers to exchange ideas.
Opening the conference, Michael Kienzle gave a keynote lecture on generation Z. Seeing himself as a mediator between generations, he dispelled prejudices against gen Z and emphasised the benefits of these digital natives for the industry.
He gave tips on how employers can become attractive to younger people by providing a pleasant working atmosphere, fun and meaningful work and professional feedback, as well as flexible working hours. “Show Gen Z how fulfilling the profession of hearing aid acousticians can be,” he said.
Tickets are available any time until the end of May on www.euha.org/def-en
