Working in partnership with a local main contractor, QuietStar recently finished a complete ISO-compliant paediatric audiology test room suite for St Helen’s House in Ipswich, UK, part of the West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust.
QuietStar undertook the design, manufacture, supply and installation of the testing suite, which includes a separate observation room and adjacent waiting area.
Whilst the main contractor undertook the construction of a new extension to house the QuietStar facility, the team at QuietStar worked closely with all personnel involved, providing full integration of finishes, air conditioning, lighting, power, cabling and all testing equipment within the specialist rooms.
The works were successfully carried out and completed despite quite restrictive access to the fully operative working site, hindered further by the extra restrictions imposed to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic. The site remained open throughout and the QuietStar team is pleased to report that the contract was completed on programme and to budget.
