The new DUO laser from Jena Surgical combines 40 or 60 Watts Ultra Pulsed Co2 power, a digital scanning micromanipulator and flexible Co2 fibre delivery in a new platform for ENT. Capable of traditional ‘straight line view’ procedures and now a flexible fibre for when access is restricted, the DUO system is also the first ultra-pulsed specification Co2 laser to be offered as standard in the UK.
According to Carleton Medical, Ultra-pulsed Co2 power provides superior cutting and better reliability than traditional direct current ‘super pulsed’ Co2 systems. Available via the NHS Supply Chain Surgical Laser Framework, the DUO offers a cost-effective means to the highest specification Co2 laser for ENT. Combined with the IQ532 KTP laser, Carleton Medical Ltd provide a full range of surgical lasers for ENT.
