Interacoustics is happy to announce the launch of Virtualis balance rehabilitation solutions as the newest addition to their balance portfolio.
The new Virtualis solutions harness the power of fully immersive virtual reality, simulating real-life environments and promoting rehabilitation strategies such as adaptation, substitution and habituation. Patients can train safely in an engaging and motivating environment, while clinicians can monitor and guide their progress, aiming to improve daily function and quality of life.
The solutions include VR goggles as well as dynamic and static posturography platforms. The dynamic platform, a Computerised Dynamic Posturography (CDP) system, provides comprehensive functional balance assessment and training. This dynamic 360-degree platform simulates real-life surfaces and stimulates the full balance system, including the otoliths.
