Carleton Medical have released an updated range of CO2 lasers for the UK. The JENA SURGICAL PRO DUO is an ultra-pulsed CO2 system with digital scanner, micromanipulator, optional flexible CO2 fibre and a range of rigid or malleable handpieces for laryngeal and oral applications. It also has the option of a fractional scanner. The PRO DUO is the most compact ultra-pulsed system available, with a small theatre footprint, weighing under 68KG. The digital scanner can produce varying length lines, curves and homogenous spot sizes for precise cutting and ablation, with the UP output producing superior cutting capability than a ‘super-pulsed’ CO2. Ultra-pulsed CO2 produces a more consistent power output than super-pulsed systems, optimising cutting across all outputs and characterised by a sharp ‘buzz’ noise on tissue.
With intuitive software, treatment library, saved settings for individual users, the PRO DUO offers the most advanced CO2 platform on the market. It is available on the NHS SUPPLY CHAIN for NHS practice, or directly from Carleton Medical, with full user training and clinical support across the UK.
