In the heart of Romania, Poiana Brasov is not only an extraordinary place for holding a scientific event, it is also the top resort for winter sports, being known for the ski jumping world cup stage.

The National Conference of ENT and Cervico-Facial Surgery with international participation took place here, organized under the auspices of the Romanian Society of ENT and Cervico-Facial Surgery, with Prof. Serban Bertesteanu as president of the conference. The event gathered over 800 participants and speakers from Romania, Moldova, Egypt, Germany, Greece, Turkey, Austria.

Since 1908, when the Romanian ENT Society was founded at the Coltea Hospital in Bucharest, the Conference of the Society of ENT and Cervico-Facial Surgery has been held every year.

This year's conference was a delight right from the opening ceremony, which was attended by film director Cristian Mungiu, winner of the Palm D'or Award from Cannes, and the musician Damian Draghici, winner of a Grammy award. A lively debate ensued between them about the relationship and interaction between medicine and art.

As one of the most anticipated events in the otolaryngology community, the event brought together leading experts, researchers and healthcare professionals who exchanged knowledge and explored the latest advances in the field. With a focus on cutting-edge research, clinical practice and patient care, this conference was an unforgettable scientific experience. This year's main theme was ‘ENT in Romania - up to date’.
Prof. Hermann of Germany gave an interesting lecture about Rhinophyma, and Prof. Negm of Egypt talked about OSAS patientsr3 assessment and management.

Social dinners with music were arranged by the end of each working day to entertain the participants who enjoyed the Romanian hospitality.
The next congress 2025 will be in the beautiful vivid city of Sibiu.
