This is a well established head and neck dissection course using Thiel fixed cadavers which gives delegates the most realistic dissection experience outside of an operating theatre. Over 2 days delegates will cover a huge range of operative procedures from tonsil and adenoid surgery through to complex major head and neck resections. A strict ratio of 2 delegates to 1 cadaver is adhered to, with high numbers of circulating faculty across both days.
Day 1 focusses on procedural skills for early-years trainees and day 2 on more complex procedures, see course programme for further details.
At the end of day 1 there will be an educational lecture open to local trainees and consultants as well as course delegates and faculty, followed by a course dinner.
Refreshments and lunches are provided.
£600 is the cost for 2 full days, if you wish to attend for 1 day only please contact f.spiers@nhs.net (Fiona Spiers) to enquire on price and availability
