Covid-19 has necessitated that all aspects of the patient pathway be reconfigured due to needs for social distancing as well as the requirement for protective personal equipment for patients and staff. In this seminar we will consider the virology of Covid-19 as well as the surgical aspects and organisational changes needed within a service to recover clinical activity.
