Romania
The Romanian National Congress of Otolaryngology and Cervico-Facial Surgery, with a wide international participation, took place this year in physical format in the beautiful city of Cluj-Napoca, Transylvania. The event was organised by the Romanian Society of Otorhinolaryngology and Cervico-Facial Surgery (SORLCCF), under the auspices of the Iuliu Hațieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
It was an opportunity to share the experience, in a high-profile scientific debate, with 25 important international guest speakers. Among them were professors Sanna, Passali, Nicolai, Negm, Stankovic, Jovic, Uzun, Onerci, Tayyar, Fliss, Qurishi, Dimartino, Rizzo, and others, plus many top Romanian professors, including Bertesteanu, Grigore, Zainea, Muhlfay, Sarafuleanu, Cubzeanu and more.
Professor Nicolai the president of the next European Confederation Congress in Milan, 29 October–2 November 2022, invited everybody to participate in this great event.
In the programme were pre-congress courses, highly tailor-made sessions, round tables, free sessions and a carefully chosen poster session.
The meeting became a time to remember that any difficult moment has a limited duration, that together we find answers to contemporary challenges and, especially, it was an opportunity to meet the mentors of our specialty.
It is natural to learn something to make another learn, you live to make another live and we recognise with Goethe that the purpose of life is life itself.
