James W Hall III is a part-time Professor in the Osborne College of Audiology at Salus University and the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Hawaii in the USA. He also holds academic appointments as Extraordinary Professor in the Department Audiology and Speech Pathology at the University of Pretoria in South Africa and Visiting Professor in the Medical Audiology Program at the American University of Beirut in Lebanon. As a graduate of Northwestern University and a former PhD student of Dr James Jerger at Baylor College of Medicine, Professor Hall can trace his audiology ancestry directly to the founder of audiology, Raymond Carhart.
