Prof Aldo Stamm is a distinguished Brazilian and world renowned ENT surgeon. He has greatly contributed to the fields of otolaryngology, rhinology, and endoscopic skull base surgery. He has given many international lectures and courses around the world and has edited four books. The second and upcoming edition of his most famous book, Transnasal Endoscopic Skull Base and Brain Surgery, is expected to be released next year by Thieme. Prof Stamm is also a former president of the Brazilian Rhinology Society, the Brazilian Skull Base Society and the Iberian-Latin-American Society of Otolaryngology. He is the director of the ENT Center (COF), co-director of the São Paulo Skull Base Center (CBCSP), and an invited professor at UNIFESP, all located in São Paulo-SP, Brazil.
